Souvenir Cards are issued as souvenirs of philaterlic, numismatic and other events, and distributed by the Post Office Department (POD), Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) and a variety of other Public and Private Organizations. Printing is done by the American Banknote Company (ABNC), The International Plate Printers, Die Stampers and Engravers Union and other Organizations. The detail of engraving work and high quality of printing make many of these works of art highly collectible.
