CANAL ZONE

The Canal Zone is a strip of land, following the Panama Canal, was under the jurisdiction of the United States
from 1904 to 1979 and under joint jurisdiction with Panama from 1979 to 1999, when it reverted entirely to Panama.
The postal service existed from June 24, 1904 to September 30, 1979.
